Jaunt Base is an invite-only family trip-planning service. Each family has a separate workspace, and members can only access trips and files belonging to a workspace in which they have an active membership. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
We store account details, trip itineraries, day notes, traveler names you choose to enter, reservation details, booking links, uploaded travel documents, and display preferences. Family workspace members can see shared trip data and attachments.
Connecting Google is optional. Jaunt Base requests Gmail read-only access to find travel confirmations when you ask, Google Calendar event access to export an itinerary, and Google Sheets access to import, export, or synchronize a trip workbook. OAuth credentials are encrypted at rest and are never returned to the browser.
Jaunt Base's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. Google data is not used for advertising or to train generalized AI models.
When you use Jaunt, your request and the relevant trip context are processed by Anthropic Claude, directly or through AWS Bedrock. If you explicitly ask Jaunt to inspect booking email, the relevant search results or message content are also processed to extract travel facts. Jaunt is restricted to travel planning, and we apply request limits and safety controls. We store daily aggregate usage counts, not a server-side transcript of your chat.
Data is stored in PostgreSQL on AWS. Shared records carry a tenant identifier and every trip, file, preference, integration, and AI request is authorized against the signed-in user's active family membership. Connections use TLS; integration credentials use authenticated encryption at rest.
Disconnecting Google deletes its stored credential for the active family workspace. Family administrators can remove memberships; platform administrators can suspend workspaces and delete accounts. Contact us to request permanent deletion of an account or family workspace.
A parent or guardian may invite family members, including minors, and is responsible for supervising their use. Jaunt Base is not directed to unsupervised children.
